Not "6.0 pounds" as stated, but 7.36 pounds... *by G***S on January 8, 2023* Bought this in anticipation of overseas travel, but didn't realize how heavy it was. I guess in retrospect even the claimed 6 pounds would be pretty heavy, but this came in at 7.36 pounds on my scale, and it's pretty good sized at that. I'll assume it does the conversion from 220 down to 110 just fine (this is the 500 watt version) because I don't have a way to test for that not now being in a country that has 220, but if those specs work for you just realize that most devices that do this conversion are going to be similarly sized/weighted.
