EX4 is an effective insecticide and it can be used immediately upon application onto clothing, but we would not recommend doing so because firstly, of course your clothes will be wet, and we would recommend that the EX4 does not come in direct contact with your skin. It is vey important that the clothes are fully dried after treatment of EX4 onto clothing, or any fabrics, once fully absorbed the effectiveness and duration of each treatment will increase significantly keeping you protected for longer. We would recommend letting the clothing or fabric to dry for at least 2 hours before use. Others around me were finding them frequently, so either this stuff works, or the ticks took one look at me after a few days wild camping and thought, “No thanks.” I’m choosing to credit the spray!Just make sure to spray your gear properly and let everything air dry fully before setting off.
