I would suggest using this ink with a mid size to broad nibs to get the gradient with the light and dark colour that this ink tends to give. I chose the brown colour as I wanted that coffee brown that’s not transparent sort of look. As I am writing this review I have finished 1 cartridge out of the 6 you get in the box with one of the faber castel fountain pens which lasted me around 50 A5 pages to write from the top to bottom. I’ve used the ink pretty consistently across every 3-5 days for reference and haven’t seen any clogging up of the feed or the nib. This is my first time using a fountain pen ink and it seems to dry fairly quickly, however it does take a few seconds to dry and otherwise it smudges. Review: Good - Good cartridges. No mess.
