Review: Great product in trying times - Instinct seems to be in good supply and is made in the US using plastic and foil containers. I was in a bit of trouble with my 3 cats who only eat Royal Canin (also named Instinctive). Since the minced pieces look similar to Royal Canin I tried this food. I did not mix, I placed equal portions of Instinct and Royal Canin side by side in the cat bowls and all 3 cats went for the new Instinct food, but also finish up Royal Canin. Thank goodness since Royal Canin has been sold out for the last 4 months. Unfortunately, Instinct costs a little bit more but also contains .5 ounces more so pretty much the same per ounce. The cats just get more food. Will have to try the other flavors to give some variety to their diet and have other options for the next shortage. And to all those scalpers who are trying to sell Royal Canin at 4-6x normal price, I hope my cats get to poop in your shoes one day.

Instinct seems to be in good supply and is made in the US using plastic and foil containers. I was in a bit of trouble with my 3 cats who only eat Royal Canin (also named Instinctive). Since the minced pieces look similar to Royal Canin I tried this food. I did not mix, I placed equal portions of Instinct and Royal Canin side by side in the cat bowls and all 3 cats went for the new Instinct food, but also finish up Royal Canin. Thank goodness since Royal Canin has been sold out for the last 4 months. Unfortunately, Instinct costs a little bit more but also contains .5 ounces more so pretty much the same per ounce. This food is very nutritious for cats! There are only real meat ingredients and no bi-products. There are also many vitamins, fruits, and veggies packed into it. This is my first time having a cat and I did a lot of research on the best wet foods and this is one of best options that I could find within my affordability. My cat loves this food! She is 7.5 pounds and I feed her 1/4 of the container once a day and she eats the Instinct Original Chicken dry food throughout the rest of the day.
