Everything is always there. There’s a bit of a motor skills element with pushing the buttons. The pop up pictures are interesting and engaging for my child. I can tell he is adding to his learning with this toy. Light weight and portable. Can easily take it in the car or most places you desire. Durability has been good. My kids break things and it’s still in one piece. Only con: it took my child a while to figure out how to push the buttons. But that was a developmental issue and nothing to do with the toy.
