This is easy to use and saves lots of time chopping up vegetables for soups and stews. I did find it sturdy but quite noisy to use having to press down quite sharply. I have used to chop up onions, carrots and celery with no problems. You get several brushes to help clean the blades. I hope to use it even more in the summer for salads.
