My cat likes it, the ingredient profile and quality is great and the bag has a very good zipper lock. There are other cat foods that are also gluten-free with deboned meats available at much more affordable price. However there is one huge benefit to this food that is not being highlighted...it's USA sourced grade A meat! The package only states that it's made in the USA. This is not the same as USA sourced and I honestly think this is one of the best selling points. I had to go to the manufactures website to find this information. Most other companies that say they are made in the USA are still sourced from overseas. If you're looking for a cat food that uses de-boned chicken sourced from the USA as a first ingredient and is gluten and filler free... Give it a try! Review: 4 expensive bags bought, 2 of which my cat refuses to eat - This is a review for 4 of the flavors - Adult/Purple, Indoor/Gold, Kitten/Teal, and Longhair/Orange. I got one of each to compare and see which flavor my common brown tabby cat liked most. In order of best to worst: Gold, Purple, Teal, then Orange. I can strongly recommend getting the Gold flavor, which my cat absolutely loves and hasn't refused even once. For the Purple one, my cat only eats sporadically, some days refusing it and other days eating it happily. I can only somewhat recommend that one, since I'm not even really sure if my cat likes it or not. My cat barely touches the Teal flavor, yet she'll reluctantly eat it if there is no other option. I'd say pass on the Teal. The Orange flavor is one my cat refuses to eat no matter what, so that is a flavor you should pass on entirely. For each, the cat food came in a high-quality, beautiful bag, with all pieces of their holistic food intact. The food pieces look identical across all the bags too. The bag uses an inventive & quick velcro-like zipping mechanism that enables you to keep it sealed by effortlessly zipping it shut with just your index and thumb fingers. The convenience of this sealing method is brilliant and I really appreciate it, though for some reason it takes a substantial amount of extra force and more than two fingers to zip shut the Orange and Teal bags. For some reason, the bags are categorized by the type of cat they were supposedly meant for, rather than simply going by their flavors as they should have done. This is incorrect since all the flavors are suitable for any cat type, which the product itself acknowledges if you look closely enough. The recommended cat types should have been at best left as a note in the description of each, so it's weird that they made it the defining attribute of each bag. Somewhat hard to recommend this when my cat doesn't like most of them and when their prices are far beyond the norm for cat food at this quantity. Obviously each cat has its own tastes, but there's a better chance your cat will like the Gold one most of all like mine did. At least that one was worth getting. Purple might be worth it too. ## Features - It is our mission to be as transparent with ingredients and nutritional information as possible; we use independent 3rd party testing labs to ensure impartial results for each bag we produce - We use only high-quality, fresh, ethically sourced, protein-rich salmon in this formula for the special breed of Persian cats - Our cat food is 100% grain and gluten free - it contains absolutely NO corn, soy, wheat, dairy, fillers, by-products, artificial colors or preservatives and has a naturally low glycemic index - The formula blend we have created contains prebiotic and active probiotics to help maintain and promote digestive gut health for your cat - Rich in Omega 3 fatty acids, and Taurine, our blend helps support healthy skin, coat and heart health; additionally it aids in the reduction of hair balls ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BLTFMRTM | | Additional Features | Grain and Gluten Free | | Age Range (Description) | All Breeds & Ages | | Age Range Description | All Breeds & Ages | | Best Sellers Rank | #80,903 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #647 in Dry Cat Food | | Brand | PURELUXE | | Brand Name | PURELUXE | | Breed Recommendation | All Breed Sizes | | Container Type | Bag | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 4 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | Large | | Flavor | Hairball | | Item Form | Kibble | | Item Weight | 11 pounds | | Manufacturer | Pureluxe Pet Food | | Model Number | TW-PLE-LHC03 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Occasion | Birthday | | Package Size Name | 11 lbs | | Pet Type | Cat | | Product Benefits | Supports healthy skin coat and heart health | | Recommended Uses For Product | Hairball control, Skin & Coat & Digestive Health | | Special Ingredients | Salmon Oil | | Specific Uses For Product | Hairball control, Skin & Coat & Digestive Health | | Target Species | Cat | | UPC | 682500939761 | | Unit Count | 11 Ounce | ## Images ![PURELUXE Grain and Gluten Free Cat Food, Long Hair Elite Nutrition, Chicken and Salmon, for Cats and Kittens with Longhair at All Life Stages and Breeds, Made in The USA, 11lbs - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81hQLwwxSML.jpg) ![PURELUXE Grain and Gluten Free Cat Food, Long Hair Elite Nutrition, Chicken and Salmon, for Cats and Kittens with Longhair at All Life Stages and Breeds, Made in The USA, 11lbs - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71fTIpHRdnL.jpg) ![PURELUXE Grain and Gluten Free Cat Food, Long Hair Elite Nutrition, Chicken and Salmon, for Cats and Kittens with Longhair at All Life Stages and Breeds, Made in The USA, 11lbs - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81d0mtzM+GL.jpg) ![PURELUXE Grain and Gluten Free Cat Food, Long Hair Elite Nutrition, Chicken and Salmon, for Cats and Kittens with Longhair at All Life Stages and Breeds, Made in The USA, 11lbs - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81G-554M59L.jpg) ![PURELUXE Grain and Gluten Free Cat Food, Long Hair Elite Nutrition, Chicken and Salmon, for Cats and Kittens with Longhair at All Life Stages and Breeds, Made in The USA, 11lbs - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81dpiaoitxL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Flavor** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A very high quality cat food that's made with USA sourced grade A ingredients *by J***Z on February 28, 2023* This is a wonderful cat food!
