I put that aside and tried it on anyway. The coat is lovely on, feels warm and cosy but not too heavy, unlike some winter coats. I'm a size 14, 5ft 6" and weight 170lb, the coat sits just above my knee and has enough room to layer up if I needed to. The fur neck and high collar is an absolute bonus for me as I don't have to wear a scarf with the coat and the hidden hood is genius!As some reviewers have already said the pockets are a little low on the coat, but for me this isn't a deal breaker. What is a bit of a concern is the zip, it's very catchy, it's not a smooth gliding zipper and can get caught in the inner material easily...
