Definelty recommend for first time ant colony. Review: The nest is well made and a good size. I is worth checking for any gaps where very small ants could escape from. I found no major issues. My only issue is that the gypsom nest did seem to have a high moisture content. The humidity in the small foraging area was close to 90 % . It was not possible for me to take a reading in the nest area. It did cause a lot of condensation on the glass, which could lead to mould. This could be easy rectified by removing the nest from the container and letting it dry out a little. I want to put my harvester colony in here but they jave decided to use another habitat I have, I do have the tubing so I will attach them together. Very heavy for such a small tank and it came with tweezers and a pipette. Great value for money, once my family have moved, I will add another photo.... Update.......
