Good dvd for beginners (well for this one anyway).  Consists of an introduction slot if you need it then four work-outs – 2 of ten minutes and 2 of twenty minutes, so you can mix and match as you like.The instruction is clear and relaxed.  You just get the instructor in a studio taking you through the routines in a calm and encouraging way with some unobtrusive music in the background; there’s none of the shouty classes or artistic camera angles and montage shots that spoil some exercise dvds.  It’s as if you’ve got your own personal instructor in the room with you.Only slight downside is it is difficult to watch the tv whilst you’re on the floor doing the exercises, so suggest you watch them through a couple of times to get familiar with the moves.

Great learning aid . I have been learning pilates from DVD s for many years and none come close to the guidance from Lynne Robinson . Her style and approach is calm and inclusive , great instruction. I think this is the best dvd  for my daughter,  who wants to learn Pilates .
