I got these for my bose over the ear headphones. They were easy to change out. My ears didn't get sweaty during our 95°+ days. I used these to replace the stock foam pads on my QC35. Those were worn out and barely hanging on by a thread. I didn't realize it, but a huge portion of the sound cancellation comes from the ear pads themselves. I had lost a LOT of sound cancellation with my headphones with my old worn out pads. These new ones slipped on in a few minutes, feel great. Look great and brought back my headphones to their full potential. As far as the "cooling" goes, the pads came with a small dropper where you add a few (literally only two or three!) drops of water to the pads before putting them on. This activates the "cooling effect" on the gel. And they aren't kidding! They feel ice cold when you put them on! They feel great and would buy this set again in the future should I ever need another replacement set.
