You can cut it to any size, I use it on 3 difficult toes. However, I have been using these toe tubes and have to say that they are of some benefit and definitely better than using nothing. I have a large and very painful bunion on my right foot. By cutting a piece of tube for my big toe and a smaller one for the toe next to it, with the overlaps aligned next to each other, it effectively pushes my toes apart just a little and eases the discomfort. The tube material is not sturdy enough to fully force the big toe apart but it does just provide some extra cushioning. My only gripe is that the material is only soft foam and is starting to fall to bits, so you can only use each bit of tubing a few times. I probably would order again when I run out as it does help and is better than going without any support.
