Review: A Thing of beauty - Wow. This is indeed a gorgeous art book. I am using it for watercolour and mixed media. It stands up well unless you involve a pen or sharp pencil and then it seems to give way under the strain if it is a little damp. No matter. It comes in a lovely box to keep it neat. This is the perfect journal/book for anyone wanting something that is portable, can be used for small or large works that extend off one page and can be stored away neatly. Recommended. I will buy more.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the length of the sketchbook when completely unfolded?**
A: Approximately 3 metres. But it's a folded length of cartridge paper so you can work on both sides I'm now working with no 8. That's since I started using them in 2013.

**Q: Does this work with fountain pen without feathering?**
A: it works fine with inks

**Q: Is the paper acid free?**
A: Unfortunately it doesn't specify that it is acid free on the label, so I would assume it isn't.

**Q: is it easy to take pages out by ripping?**
A: The concertina sketchbook is one large piece of paper that has been folded very cleverly to make a beautiful A5 sketchbook. In answer to your question, it would be extremely difficult to tear out a page. This sort of sketchbook is ideal for sketching a landscape when it is all unfolded. It is then easily re-folded back into an A5 size that is easy to store our carry about. Similarly you can use it like an ordinary sketchbook with each page being just A5. I hope this helps. I think they are brilliant
