Nougat can be one of those foods that can be made without animal fat. I did not check as they were purchased as a gift for a carnivore.

**Q: Is this expired  as it shown in one of the picture ?**
A: This is a stock picture.  The products they sell is well in date and of great quality

**Q: How can they say it is from a centuries old recipe when the ingredients include honey flavouring and glucose syrup?**
A: It’s based on ancient recipes as is most things.
