Review: They worked perfectly...and the auto-focus worked with each individually and combined. - There was a bit of a learning curve since I'm never attempted macro photography, but after getting used to these tubes, they're perfect. This is a set of 3, by mixing them, you'll find you have different focal lengths. FYI, they are tubes...no glass, I knew this going in, but if you're not familiar with them it may be a surprise to you. If you are new to macro, as I am, start out with the thinnest one to get used to how they work, I kept all of them together and thought something was wrong. This set has the contacts to use the auto-focus on your camera...they worked perfect on my D-7500 and D-7200 and the pictures I had taken...after learning...were perfect. I was a bit concerned, the mount on the camera body was tight but they did work out nicely...good picture quality and they feel as if they'll hold up quite nice. I'm thinking about getting another set to change up the focal lengths.
Review: The AF Nikon Set I Received is What is Shown Here, and Work Great! - MEIKE MK-N-AF1-A Macro Auto Focus Extension Tubes In short, these three tubes worked absolutely fine, with no problems in every combination I tried them with three Nikon bodies and two Nikon and one Tamron lens. They each fit one another, and the three cameras and three lenses I tried with them snugly, but not the crazy-tight connection some have reported with extension tubes. Attachments are smooth, firm, and lock with a satisfying click. The set I received looks great, had good quality control, and work in all ways tested for me with several cameras and lenses. My set is just what I hoped for. I sincerely hope other buyers have the good luck I had with my set of Meike Nikon AF macro extension tubes. I ordered from this particular desertcart page because it lists the extension tubes part number as MK-N-AF1-A. This set, the ones shown here and that I received, have chromed metal surfaces where each tube attaches to the camera body, or one another, and also the chromed metal surfaces on the lens attaching ends of ALL three tubes in this set. The bodies of these extension tubes are all plastic. The good quality, high-impact plastic that is sturdy and strong, but still plastic and NOT metal. Only the six tube ends are chromed metal where attachments are made. As best I can tell, Meike makes as set of extension tubes much like this where the end that attaches to a camera mount or other tube is plastic, with no chromed metal surface, while the lens ends of those tubes are metal. I specifically wanted the Meike extension tube set for nikon with metal surfaces on both ends of all tubes, and the electrical contacts and screw drive autofocus mechanisms. I have a Nikon D750 and access to my daughters' Nikon D3200 and D90 cameras. This set of tubes worked, one at a time, with my D750 and the Nikon 50mm f/1.8G lens. Autofocus and aperture changes worked fine with each extension tube up to and including all three of them stacked. This set of tubes worked, one at a time, with my D750 and a Tamron SP Di AF 90mm f/2.8 screw mount lens. Autofocus and aperture changes worked fine with each extension tube up to and including all three of them stacked. I was really impressed that the AF worked with all the tubes stacked though I use manual focus with macro pretty much exclusively. Having the tubes working as advertised, even with an older, third party screw drive AF lens was a good test of these tubes workmanship and alighnment. I used the tubes with one daughters Nikon D90, the same Tamron 90mm Macro screw drive AF lens as described above and a Nikon 18-55mm kit lens. All combinations worked, even the Tamron, since the D90 has screw drive AF capability. Controlling the apertures and the focus on the kit zoom and the Tamron Macro worked without problems for me. I used the tubes with my other daughter's Nikon D3200, a Nikon 18-55mm kit lens and the Nikon 50mm f/1.8G lens. All combinations worked, with the D3200, the various Meike tubes, the kit 18-55mm zome, and the 50mm f/1.8G, in controlling the apertures and the focus. I would absolutely love for Nikon to make a fully metal set of AF extension tubes, but then they'd probably charge $150US for each, and $400US for all three as a set. Since I won't be using these daily, these $50 Meike extension tubes have alread exceeded my expectations, and I've already been having fun trying to determine some fun, neat, repeatable setups for some in home macro work. Health problems keeps me inside more than I'd like, and these tubes add more macro options to my kit than just my Tamron 90mm Macro. With all three of these tubes stacked, and using my Tamron 90mm 1:1 macro on my D750, I get a magnification of 1.64, well over half again the subject's original size. Sweet.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Difference between mk-n-af1-b and mk-n-af1-a comtibility nikon d500?**
A: You can look at the picture to see they bayonet, A is Metal, B is plastic.

**Q: For nikon d80 in need the : zn-mk-n-af1-a type?**
A: Nikon D80 is a DSLR, yes? Then the MK-N-AF1-A tubes should work. A note about using them: for most applications, the DOF (depth of field) is so shallow that you will want to stop down to f/16 or even f/22 to get the whole bug or whole gemstone or whole LEGO guy in focus. Autofocus works on my lenses, but physically moving the camera to focus range is just as important, sometimes better.

**Q: Hi I’m sorry for my lack of knowledge this is a gift. They have the 7500 does it matter what lens it attaches too ? And curios what does it do?**
A: This does work with all Nikon DSLR including the 7500. This device sits bwtween the camer and the lens. So you first attach it to the camera and then put the lens on this. What it allows people to do is take a very close up photo of anything... flower, bugs, anything you want to take close up photo of. It depends on the lens they have... if they have higher one... like 50 or 105... or a zoom that has this range... you will take incredible close up photo of subjects... like all the fine details of the flower petal, leaves, rock, etc... sort of like microscope. Without this extension tube, it is not possible to get up close to take picture and blowing up a regular picture makes blurrier pictures... With this extension tubes, things will be really zoomed in, sharp and detailed. Hopes this helps!

**Q: Will thesw work with a nikon d5300? 5100 and 5200 are listed...**
A: Yes, it can use for NIKON all DSLR camera, whatever d5300 d5100 or 5200.
