Because of the design of the case, a Fractal Meshify 2 XL, I was getting a loud noise from the front case fans at a certain RPM. After installing these, I can now run the case fans at a higher RPM than before (1500 RPM, up from 1100 RPM), all while keeping the noise and vibration levels down.
