The current listing size of 100 x 81.1 x 74.8 cm, I assume is wrong. It'd make it a metre long** A: Hi the dimensions are : L=25 x W=19 x H=20 cm approx **Q: Is this any good to drain oil out of sump** A: I used an oil pan to catch the draining oil then transferred it into this container so it could be disposed of correctly. Check the quantity of oil to be drained. I think this is a 6lt container. The spout, however, leaves a lot to be desired. The spout locates into the can with a tapered fitting and no matter how tight you screw it on, the spout is still not fully secured and fuel can drip out of the joint. I added a rubber o-ring under the spout nut which allows the nut to be more fully tightened down and make a better seal with the can. Fortunately, I have a number of o-rings to hand but Joe Average should not have to modify something that should be designed to dispense fuel in a safe fashion. (And I'm not sure how long the o-ring may last is contact with petrol).
