Pros: Perfect for fine motor skills - you can easily spend a lot of time pulling vegetables and putting them back into the 'ground'. Cons: The brown base easily comes off when children tug quite hard. I am a primary school teacher, so I have ordered books for my child and for my class. Pros: Good for trying to incorporate that 'ambitious vocabulary' from a young age. There were interesting verbs in this book, with pictures to match. Cons: That's it! The words aren't written in a sentence, so children will often read a word and never understand the context of the word in spoken English, which is a shame.
