Firstly, as with Noctua products the packaging was extremely solid, arriving with anti-vibration pads in numerous colours to suit different builds. I stuck with the black ones as i already had the extra thick black ones from the Chromax U12S. The fan comes with an extension cable which was crucial for getting it to a Y splitter on the backside of my case, making my build neat and tidy. However, this fan does not come with a Y splitter so you will need to purchase that separately should you feel you need it. The fan is extremely quiet, only really getting loud at very high RPM (1300 or so) but since there are two now on my heatsink I very rarely hear them over my case fans (Corsair ML140s). The Noctua quietness reputation certainly holds up with these F12s. These help to keep my CPU temps around 30-33 degrees at idle and around 50-55 degrees whilst gaming. If I could buy 3/4 for my case I would, however these are relatively expensive fans. They are absolutely worth it in my opinion for the noise and airflow performance alone though, but they aren't available to buy in bulk (anymore) which is a shame. There’s no performance difference, it was simply to keep my color scheme matching. The original tan one went into a different case that doesn’t have a window. **Q: are these good for radiators?** A: I disagree with the seller. The A12 is well rounded for the best option in all applications but the F12 is better pressure optimized for heatsinks and radiators. The S12A has better air flow and is the best as a case fan. So the A12 is essentially in between the F12 and S12A which are specialized; not as good as either but better than both at what they aren't specialized for. If you doubt me, this isn't my personal opinion but Noctua's official recommendation **Q: Will this fan fit the uh-12s cpu cooler?** A: These are the same 120mm form factor as the ones that come with the NH, they should fit. **Q: Is the fan reversable to become an intake or exhaust fan as neeeded?** A: All fans are reversible, based on how your mount them in the case.
