It has one base (looks like the old day router) and 4 cameras. They are paired (wirelessly connected already). The base is like mini PC, once connected to a monitor or a TV, you can view the images or control those cameras. Images can be viewed either as a group or individually. You can also set the camera at certain angle or make it auto tracking. The system is very easy to set up and thoughtfully designed, it even has languange options. I have tested the cameras indoor. The quality of the picutre is very good under low light or low light situations. Once setting up in auto tracking, the camera can also follow human body movement. Fun to play with. I am going to leave one camera indoor in the garage, and place the other three outdoors. I bought the wired ones which have to be plugged into electrical outlets. Although I will have to pay the electrician to install a few outlets, but I think it will be worth it. If they are installed in a area with a lot of movements, that camera will be on all the time. I am positive that under these circumstances, wired ones will be more stable and more reliable. Overall, I am impressed with the system (not just four cameras).
