I bought this product because my vet (who is a bird specialist) recommended it. He said it has all the needed nutrients for my cockateil which is now 23 years old and show no signs of aging. So the ingredients you mentioned have had no negative effects on her. She's been on this food for close to 10 years. Soooo glad I switched from seeds. **Q: Does this contain artificial food coloring?** A: It contains natural and artificial dyes I think. Any of the pellets that are brightly colored like these have dye in them. I feed my birds a variety of things and this is one of them.
