Seals nice and tight, yet the rubber locking bands are easy to engage and disengage. Has a variety of color choices, and the gray matched my off-roader interior perfectly. Holds cold well as my catch stayed frozen solid on a trip back south from Lake of the Woods. I don't run the fridge on propane while driving as I have extended daily drives around 10 hours at a time so I couldn't leave the items that need to stay cold in the fridge as they would spoil. This cooler did great at maintaining the ice that I started off with for four days and I am thrilled with that. The rope handles and ability to grab around each side of the cooler make lifting and carrying easy. The dual drain plugs work great to dump the water when you're done. I also like that the lid stays open unlike a Coleman unit that I have that won't stay open. I've not experience any leaking, always a plus! My only real gripe with this unit is that I wish that it came with storage baskets for the top that I had to buy separately. The ability to segregate your items and keep them dry up top is very handy. I used it to store lunch meats, cheeses and condiments to be able to easily pull the basket out and make lunch while at a rest area. I would have gladly paid a little more for that convenience if Rtic had offered it.
