A: It has a switch to subtract or add db. Its + or - 3db if i remember correctly.

**Q: Can I wire this to 2 ohms**
A: Yes

**Q: does this need an amplyfier ? can I just wiring using the original wire**
A: These will work on original wiring and stock radio, but for best sound and amplifier is recommended.

**Q: Can these fit 2001 ford xlt f150 front speakers?**
A: Yes they should but with a bracket. I have a 99 f150 and 6x8s were originally there and I bought the bracket to go to the 6.5"

Did not work in my 06 dodge ram. It tweeters don't work in the front doors but did in the rear.
