**Q: what dosage will I need for 5500 gallon pool?**
A: It says on the label - normal dosage 70g per 11000 gals, shock treatment 700g. Test and treat when necessary. I use a little more than this but only treat every 3 days. You have to have the correct PH and other factors affect it too.

**Q: Is this pure Calcium hypochlorite (no cyanuric acid stabiliser or anything else)?**
A: Hi, this product is 75% cal hypo but does not contain stabiliser

The shock proof chemicals cleared our (green coloured pool) approx 80% A great result but was hoping for 100%. I’m wandering if we needed to add a larger quantity!

Fine granules that dissolve quickly. Prefer it to my "recommended" spa shock. Using it to keep chlorine levels up without increasing cyanuric acid. Will need to add calcium reducer though.Should be good for the patio as well.
