I respectfully disagree with other reviewers who say that the sound is not professional and is lacking. Exactly what I like about them is the very nice tone, and this is important to me, as professionally-trained musician. The colors are pleasingly bright, and so far they have not broken, cracked or shipped as kids have occasionally dropped them. Very nice maracas for such a fantastic price! Five stars! :-)
