The scoring system on the box is accurate. There is an overall difficulty scale as well as 4 different catagories such as strategies that are also helpful. Most of our games that we have played have taken over 2 hours to solve. **Q: Are tgese games that can be used for a kids birthday party, like an actual escape room?** A: If the kids are older, like teens, and there aren't very many of them... more than 4 would be hard to keep everyone interested.
