Review: Suitcase invertor - Don’t know what this is n o tin my orders or delivered Review: A great product but the instruction manual could be better - I am very pleased with the generator. I decided for the first start that I would use the cord rather than the electric starter and it fired away on the third pull and the effort needed for the pull was not excessive. My only disappointment was with the instruction manual - on the font it says it is for the Evo 1000, 2000, and 3000 models. Inside it gives instructions for both the 1000 and 2000 but no where are there any specific references to the 3000. So I e-mailed Evo who very quickly got back to me with another instruction manual for me to print out. This was identical to the one I had - so no more use. However there was another sheet that warned me that the battery had been disconnected for transit, and what to do. Surely this should have been included in the packaging. Having done a bit of experimenting, I think that the engine for the 3000 has all the characteristics of the 2000 (i.e. oil capacity, positioning of various things and what needs to be serviced). In Italy it is impossible will buy the battery? This is the largest model in the Evopower range **Q: Does the remote start feature work without having to go to the unit and 'prime' it first? I bought another make and it does not work unless you do.** A: If it's been in storage for a while, where it is good practise to let the fuel run of the system, then it may need priming the first time you use it.
