**Q: How many tpi (teeth per inch)?**
A: The number of TPI was not listed on Amazon, so I took my chances. I’ve made batts (so far) with many layers of roving mixtures plus locks plus yarn scraps & it works beautifully for the art yarns that I like to make. I pack it in with a ‘nail scrub brush’. The batts I end up with seem comparable to those from a drum carder.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great substitute for a drumcarder

I bought this carding cloth, which I believe is 72 TPI, and stapled it on a 'cutting board style board' with a handle. It works beautifully on every fiber I want to blend - roving, yarn scraps, locks and nepps - to form beautiful rolags or batts. A great buy for those of us who can't afford a drum carder or don't have the space for one.
