I was trying to drill a 3/16” hole in a 5/8” pc of old cast iron and I had several to do. I burned up every 3/16 name brand and off brand bit I had, probably 5 in total, with not even one hole drilled. I took a chance on these and I can’t believe how sharp and durable these things are. They drilled through the old cast iron like it was hot butter. I finished the hole I had started and drilled 5 more holes with ONE bit and it’s still sharp!
