The best analogy I can find is to think about the pressure needed to squeeze 2 inches of foam. It really isn't too much work and there are videos available which are really helpful when you get it and are putting the sealant in. So far, armed with my sealant gun, I have resealed ALL the windows, doors internally and externally and all the skirting boards. There has been a massive decrease in condensation and the number of small insects coming into my home. I wish I learnt how to do this earlier as I have wasted so much time and money waiting for workmen to do these tasks. But it would be better if it had a hook shape lever so you can hang it easily. I struggled a lot with my old gun as I couldn’t pull the leaver back up and it would keep getting stuck on the tubes.
