It does add additional costings to your bedding changes but it is worth it when you don't have to put up with that smell after a couple of days. Well worth the money but I would always wait for it to be on offer to get the best bang for your buck! I use a generous layer and then put the sawdust on as usual. It makes cleaning easier too as the bedding doesn't stick to the cage bottom as easily.
