Review: NMM colors - The colors are amazing but then again, it’s from Vallejo.. warning : you will not paint nmm on your first try and you will def need practice but these colors will def give you great looks once mastered. They blend very will but I do suggest a glaze medium for help. The price is always on point and again, it’s from Vallejo so you know the quality is always on point. Review: It’s vallejo - Vallejo is the standard to many painters for a reason. The color selection for this kit is great, especially for gold NMM. Everyone has their own recipes for NMM but this is a great starting point and honestly you could play it safe and stick with these colors forever and (assuming it’s well executed) people will think you’re a NMM wizard As far as the sale, it showed up on time and was well packaged. The cost per paint is great for the quality if you’re using all the colors (which you will eventually, right?). Not much more to say. ## Features - Paint set with step by step instructions - 8 Game Color, instructions & color chart - Acrylic Colors for Models and Miniatures ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00GZQZ38C | | Age Range Description | Kid | | Best Sellers Rank | #110,685 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ( See Top 100 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ) #2,180 in Art Paints | | Brand | Vallejo | | Brand Name | Vallejo | | Color | Grey,Turquoise,White | | Container Type | Bottle | | Coverage | Full | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 390 Reviews | | Finish Type | Metallic | | Global Trade Identification Number | 08429551722124 | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Form | Liquid | | Item Part Number | 72212 | | Item Volume | 17 ml | | Item Weight | 0.15 kg | | Manufacturer | MMD Holdings, LLC | | Model Number | VJ72212 | | Paint Type | Acrylic | | Part Number | 72212 | | Size | 0.57 Fl Oz (Pack of 8) | | Special Feature | Non Toxic | | Special Features | Non Toxic | | Surface Recommendation | Metal,Plastic | | UPC | 781264622022 885234711270 716080178279 | | Unit Count | 4.59 Fluid Ounces | | Warranty Description | No Warranty | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Vallejo - **Color:** Grey,Turquoise,White - **Finish Type:** Metallic - **Indoor/Outdoor Usage:** Indoor - **Item Volume:** 17 ml - **Paint Type:** Acrylic - **Size:** 0.57 Fl Oz (Pack of 8) - **Special Feature:** Non Toxic - **Surface Recommendation:** Metal,Plastic - **Unit Count:** 4.59 Fluid Ounces ## Images ![Game Color Effects Set 72212 Non Metallic Metal (8) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/611CR3vTp1L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ NMM colors *by J***S on May 10, 2026* The colors are amazing but then again, it’s from Vallejo.. warning : you will not paint nmm on your first try and you will def need practice but these colors will def give you great looks once mastered. I've known how to apply this particular technique but my color selection has been what held my finished paint jobs back. The guide is priceless, although it does the typical "included guide" thing and skip over some much needed details, like the fact that it utilizes airbrush and how to properly glaze/wash. I wouldn't say this is for beginners, as you'll need to know where to place the highlights to achieve maximum results - the guide also breezes through highlight/shade theory - but it's definitely a good starting point for those who are looking to achieve this advanced technique. Update 2/26/16: I've gotten to use this set much more since my initial review and it's been a staple in almost every model I've painted since. I've also used them through an airbrush after using Vallejo Thinner Medium for awesome results. I highly suggest when buying this to add Vallejo Glaze and Thinner Medium in order to use the Turquoise glazing, as well as using more black in the gold recipe for shading. ## Frequently Bought Together - Vallejo Non Metallic Metal Colors - Vallejo - Model Color Effects Wood & Leather Set | Modeling Acrylic Paints | 8 bottles x 18 ml (0.60 fl.oz.) - Vallejo - Model Color Face & Skin Tones Set | Modeling Acrylic Paints | 8 bottles x 18 ml (0.60 fl.oz.) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/4876380-game-color-effects-set-72212-non-metallic-metal-8](https://www.desertcart.us/products/4876380-game-color-effects-set-72212-non-metallic-metal-8) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
