This has much longer control and is stronger. The Featherweight is water soluble like the Deluxe Pomade but the Monster Hold needs to be washed out with Shampoo to fully get rid of it. Personally I use the Pomade when my hair is shorter and I want a more slick look and the Monster Hold when it gets longer for better control and more of a matte finish.
