This is a fantastic piece of kit and what I really love is the ability to take a bunch of readings and effortlessly load them to your app on Android or IOS. No more faffing about having to manually type in the readings and then you forget and have to remember what time you took the reading. So much hassle. This is effortless. I also noticed it has a powerful Bluetooth signal which means I can swipe my omron app on the phone upstairs and voila on the second swipe it records all the previous readings that haven't been uploaded since the last upload. It then gives a bunch of different analytics and works out your average blood pressure on any day or week or month. Brilliant piece of kit. Also with the white backlight display you can even take the blood pressure in the dark ! It used to be excellent. Now (Nov’21) it is pretty useless. See the reviews on the Apple App Store. It insists on being updated to a new version which offers a monthly subscription but the basic features no longer work properly, even after collecting a lot of unnecessary data, or even fail to sync at all. Read the Apple reviews. Many disgruntled users over a product and free app that used to be a market leader. However the monitor still just about works. Considering competing technology or even less tech products on the market I can no longer recommend this Omron monitor. **Q: One customer said it needs an adapter ? Does this device comes ready to use or it needs some not included things ? Also what it’s power source ?** A: Hi, The unit comes complete and is ready to use from the box. The power source is 4 x AA batteries which are included in the box. You only need an adapter if you wish to run the unit on mains electricity, but this is not necessary as the batteries last for quite some time under normal personal usage. Hope this helps. Has memory Bank for 2 users and afib detector. Great value in black Friday sale. 4 aa batteries supplied.
