Product Description The manufacture of Graf von Faber-Castell indelible inks for fountain pens is an art form. Each one of their different vibrant colours inspired by nature requires its own formula and the highest quality ingredients. The excellent quality shows itself in the even flow of ink and the fact that you can start writing with the fountain pen almost immediately, even after long breaks. An ink is called indelible if it is smudge-resistant, reproducible, light-fast and waterproof, cannot be erased and is resistant to many chemicals and solvents. Review: Good ink for a good pen! - These are the perfect complement for an excellent pen. I only recently learnt that all Faber Castell fountain pens all share the same iridium-tipped steel nib design. Well, many would go for gold but this nib is a stiff but wet beauty; it gives a "characterful" feel when writing, not super smooth but with a definite and most satisfying feel against the paper. The medium nib I have gives a fine, wet line. Lovely.

A: Yes.

**Q: Would this standout enough against black ink if used for grading papers?**
A: Yes, that is what I use it for. It is a more subtle red than red ballpoint ink.

**Q: I  have an old a.w.faber castell castello 7 fountain pen -do you know if these cartridges will fit this pen?**
A: I am not familiar with the particular vintage fountain pen.  But, if the pen accepts standard size cartridges- it probably does- then,  this product should work.
