I bought the same staples, ARROW, steel 3/8 (10mm) from my local shop and they worked a treat. Let the buyer beware. **Q: are arrow t50 staples made from stainless steel** A: An interesting question. Amazon says “steel” and I think if they were made from stainless steel they would be so described. I think stainless steel would be overkill for a staple at this price although if it is important to you look at TacWise staples which are described as stainless steel. **Q: What does the #506ip mean? i normally get the one that says#506 that has only 1250 staples. will these fit the t50 r.e.d.? just want to be sure.** A: Good question. Staple standards are more or less non-existent with each manufacturer using their own coding. However, the Arrow A506IP T50 staple is a 10mm staple and the Arrow T50 r.e.d. takes 6mm or 8mm or 10mm staples.
