She loves it and managed to operate it fairly quickly with some guidance. In particular it was helpful that there was verbal instruction as well as words on the screen which allowed her to use it independently sooner. In this respect useful for younger children who cannot yet read. Educational as well as fun and more sturdy than an normal iPad. ### ⭐ Don't even go there *by A***R on 3 January 2017* Worst thing I have ever purchased. Having bought it for my daughter's Christmas present at the end of September I can no longer return it. After charging it and downloading an app bundle (for another £40) none of the games work as the thumbnails are grey and the games can not be open. Following advice from Leapfrog who clearly have no idea why we have this problem the Leapad will now not even turn on and the latest advice is try a different lead (which I don't have) or try a differnt computer (which I don't have).
