Each compartment has a rubber/TPE material on the bottom, so movement of items within the tray is minimal even during spirited driving. The right pocket fits glasses/sunglasses very well, the slender middle one fits a small streamlight, and the left one is great for larger items. Currently using it for a smaller framed "emergency road defense" item and it's a great mix of quick access yet remains hidden from view with the lid of the console closed.
