Review: Five Stars - This worked perfectly to repel the rats from the engine area of my car. Quality product. Review: Fantastic for fungus gnats - This is awesome stuff. It was a last ditch effort to get a disgusting fungus gnat issue under control. I got a snake plant from IKEA (bro don't do it lol) and it immediately brought a fungus gnat infestation into my home. As soon as I found out this was the culprit I tossed the plant, however, the issue persisted as I have other plants in the house and these breed like crazy. I have tried everything from hydrogen peroxide rinses, BT sprays, mosquito dunks, Safer Home plugins, and a fan in my room. Nothing has truly helped. So, I did not have high hopes for this oil doing anything. For the first try I just took the oil from the protective cap that needs to be removed before use and just a few more dabs of oil. I spread this lightly on my bed frame and on my nightstand and on the one remaining planter (not the actual plant) in my room. I did not see a single gnat for the rest of the day!! This is amazing. I will cosign with other reviewers to say this scent is so strong. I did actually get a headache even from the small amount that I used, but it was so worth it. The scent does calm down after awhile. I have only seen a few gnats today so assume I will have to reapply this daily. With a 4 oz bottle, I can do that without breaking the bank. I will obviously need to keep up the other methods as this is just a deterrent, but I'm so happy these gnats are out of my face!!! If you've ever had this issue, you know exactly how infuriating these are. Highly, highly recommend this if using as an insect repellent! ## Features - Botanical Name: Mentha Piperita. That's what most sellers would do. It's clear the emailed digital version isn't working **Q: Will this work for our camper to keep mice out even with temperatures below freezing most of the winter?** A: I put a significant amount of peppermint oil on cloth and placed it in my kitchen cabinet. I found fresh mouse droppings ON the cloth within days. If it doesn't work in a home, I wouldn't trust it for your camper **Q: If I want to add this to my shampoo and/or body wash, what ratio should I use?** A: This is a very potent peppermint oil, I would use no more than one drop per ounce of the shampoo bottle for a very strong effect. Then shake/mix thoroughly. For a milder effect, with just a hint of the peppermint scent, I'd use one drop per six ounces. **Q: Is the bottle made from glass or plastic?** A: It is dark colored glass so as to keep out sunlight...I think that it may be important to retain the oil's potency. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars *by A***T on 8 September 2016* This worked perfectly to repel the rats from the engine area of my car.
