Don't be fooled by the theoretically low amplification of 35W into 8ohms. It's a sophisticated class D-amp with top-grade components and it can drive effortlessly speakers like the B&W 803 D3. I use it with an upgraded Rega Planar 3 turntable and the Shiit Mani preamp. The low power rating is misleading as well, this amplifier is able to control relatively difficult speakers like the Sonus Faber Concerto Home better than some higher rated class A/B amplifiers.The amplifier isn’t good enough to reveal the full potential of a DAC like the Schiit Yggdrasil but is good for the price. However, it deserved a better DAC section, bass is not well defined and timbre seems a bit off.
