Not sure why floss would have harmful chemicals in it, but apparently some do. Tried a different brand, more expensive and too thick. Very hard to get between my teeth. This stuff is cheaper and thinner and supposedly chemical free. Goes between my teeth pretty well. Frays and shreds sometimes, but hasn't actually broken.
