Whilst the dashboard bit came off without too much trouble when selling the car, the phone one took off some of the attached case with it (cheap case I'll admit). Bear in mind wherever you stick either end, it may be permanent!For most of my phones, this proved to be a nifty solution that I really liked. Sadly, when I moved onto my iPhone 6S Plus, it couldn't quite cut it anymore. I replaced it with the red version of theΒ  Logitech ZeroTouch Air Vent Car Mount for Android Phones 5.0 and Above, Works with Alexa - Black Β which a friend was kind enough to gift to me. I have stuck the magnet above a plug in the kitchen and attached one of the plates provided to the back of my iPhone case and can then hang the phone just above the plug a 6 inch charger lead for my iPhone and a surge protected USB charger that also frees up the plug socket which was also bought on Amazon and the job is done. I have changed my review as the price has gone up.
