And the price was really good too, which was an added bonus! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great concept but not worth my struggle *by C***N on November 28, 2022* I do love the results of the curls. It heats up nice, I like that there's a lock button so you can't accidentally turn it off or change the temperature, and the plates are nice and smooth. However, the design has a couple of flaws. As mentioned in other reviews, in order to hold it tight you have to push on the buttons. If you hold it lower to avoid the buttons, it doesn't tighten very well so you're hair falls out and you can pinch your finger in the hinge. If you're holding it with both hands, one on the base and the other at the tip, if you let go of the base the tip only holds the tip closed so your hair will fall out if you let go of the base. Why not just use a barrel you ask? Because there are days that I like to straighten my hair and I don't have a lot of space for a bunch of different tools. That's what I really loved about this, two in one, perfect! I gave this one a lot of time before I made my decision to return it because I really do love it but if I'm in a hurry I don't have time to worry about if I'm holding it tight enough, dropping it, repeating curls because my hair fell out or if I'm going to get pinched. This was just a frustration thing for me.
