How to use HG Headstone Cleaner (215050106): 1. Spray the dirty marks with HG headstone cleaner from a distance of 5 cm. 2. Leave the tombstone cleaner product to absorb for approximately 25 minutes. 3. Remove any remaining dirt with a cloth or brush. 4. Rinse the surface with plenty of water. I used a little brush to get into carved areas and it brushed off easily! It is quite strong, I used rubber gloves and I would say be careful if you have painted letters, it could probably take the colour out, my letters were on the front of the marble Review: Excellent product! - Excellent product. As you can see from the before and after photos, the headstone would have originally been a beautiful white marble but over the years had turned a dark grey. I sprayed this product on the stone and left It for 2 minutes (it warns not to leave it on white marble for more than 2-3 minutes) before giving it a good scrub and then rinsing it off with plenty of water. I then repeated this. The result is not perfect, but I didn’t expect To be. It is certainly a good start though. It has restored a lot of the original whiteness but has struggled with the more stubborn staining, especially on the base and the edges. I will return in the spring to give this another treatment and perhaps leave the product on the more stubborn areas a little bit longer.
