I'm not a professional bad guy, but have engineering experience and a good deal of theoretical knowledge and I am confident of the lock's security. I wandered around this site and a couple of others and ended up buying this one anyway - quite simply nothing else measured up to my requirements. I am happy with my keysafe and consider it well worth the asking price. Instructions were very clear and came with a template for the wall mount. It is sturdy to the point of being pry-proof and heavy enough that you could break a toe if you dropped it. The locking mechanism is good quality and operates from a comfortable 180 degree turn. Even kids under 10 could easily use this once combination is set. It fits to even a slightly uneven brick wall easily and securely and has a well designed rain cover over the button section. The buttons have a solid enough feel which gives you confidence that they will last. I am very happy with my purchase, but there are a couple of points to note... # The combination will open the locking mechanism even if the numbers are entered out of sequence. # The rain cover was extremely tight and grated my skin a few times against the wall as I tried to pull at it. # The supplied screws are torx ( recess looks a little like and asterix ) Not everyone will have the tool to use these. # A tool is required to change the combinition - it is like a piece of cardboard - one is supplied. I nearly lost mine on the first day even though there is a recess to hold it within the keysafe. Lose this and forget your combination and you will really be in trouble.
