Included in delivery: 1 pair of GripGrab Ride Windproof Winter Cycling Gloves FAQ's Which size do I need? Available in XS, S, M, L, XL, and XXL. Please consult the size guide in the product pictures. These gloves are cut rather tight, which is preferred by performance-oriented and sporty cyclists. We recommend choosing +1 size up from your normal size. If you usually use size L, order these gloves in size XL. Which temperature range are these gloves made for? We all have a very individual perceptions of heat and cold. Further, it also depends on other outside factors such as wind, the intensity of the exercise, and general clothing choice. We recommend these gloves for steady rides in winter. Depending on the intensity of your ride and your sensitivity to cold conditions, they are perfect for riding your bike in winter over a variety of conditions. They will most likely be too warm for spring and autumn, and too cold for double digits below freezing. Are the Ride Windproof Winter gloves wind- and waterproof? They are windproof. These gloves are not waterproof but will withstand the odd short shower and road spray. Why do I still have cold hands despite wearing gloves? Gloves, just like any other piece of clothing, can't warm by themselves! Their task is to retain and insulate the warmth produced by our body as long as possible. If our body doesn't produce enough heat - for example through physical exercise - then there also is no heat that gloves etc. can insulate. Further, it is important to consider your entire clothing choice . The way our body works is optimized to save our life critical organs in our upper body . That means if you go out in winter and dress too lightly around your upper body , it will automatically direct the warm blood from uncritical parts of your body (arms, hands, legs, feet) to your upper body. Consequently, if you use thick gloves, socks and overshoes, make sure that you dress the rest of your body accordingly. Also make sure that the gloves don't sit too tight - otherwise there is no space for insulating air. Are the Ride Windproof Winter gloves touchscreen-compatible? Yes, the thumb features a touchscreen-compatible patch that allows you to use the basic functionalities of a smartphone, like taking a picture or making a call.

Review: Wind proof for real, not warm by itself - I use these as normal gloves when I drive, they’re a bit wrong for that. But for biking or outside activities with wind? Awesome. Biking: The gloves are part of my winter commute tools. They legitimately block wind, on top at least, as I noticed when I dry them on the glove rack after. Winter commuting in Minnesota means subzero Fahrenheit weather, and I angered Mother Nature early in life so I usually get strong headwinds. I wear these INSIDE the Bar Mitts 6mm extreme cold pogies, but the gloves won’t help folks with cold hands caused by circulation issues. The cold metal slowly chills my fingers over the ride home since my poor bike gets stuck in an unheated indoor area and it’s not a long enough ride to rewarm the handlebars. Pulling a hand out to swipe my nose means no extra cold getting into my fingers. My experience with heavy winds a few weeks ago gave a great test for: Grip: Excellent, doesn’t slip off hoods inside pogies, haven’t been on bar tape yet, but I’m primarily on the hoods anyway. Also helpful grabbing boxes of delivered goods. Windpoof: Yep. Even when not stuffed into pogies, no cooling (-15 F) wind chill effect. Nose wiper: Soft, fleece thumbs means softly dried nose. When nose not hidden in wool for survival. Warmth: Meh. When I’m active, they’re okay. The pogies do the heavy lifting of warmth retention so the gloves would be warmer as mittens. But then it’s harder to shift. They don’t block the heat exchange between my palms and the cold hoods/handlebars, but I’m not uncomfortable. If you have a circulation issue, not these gloves. Consider diving mitts instead, thick neoprene with a mitten-like inside. Or electric gloves. That was my next choice if these hadn’t worked so well outside the pogies. Padding: Nice, feels comfortable on the hoods, seems to be in the right spots. Not a standalone winter outdoor heavier activity glove, but windproof, comfortable, visible, and grippy.
Review: Outstanding quality. - Exceeded all my expectations. Warm and snug fitting gloves. No more frozen fingers. I used it at mid 30s (F). Didn't try them on a long ride (over 24 miles). So far, i love them. I bought size large and it fit me perfectly.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding quality.
*by R***S on April 25, 2026*

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can take going down to freezing temp in the woods, but not on the road comfortably....
*by A***N on December 22, 2025*

Ordered these in November and finally had a chance to test them twice in December in near freezing temps (32F-36F). The first test was a MTB trail ride and these were warm for the entire ride back in the woods at relatively slow speeds and low wind. I didn't notice my hands getting cold at all. The second test was a road ride, again around 34F. These were OK for about the first hour of riding, but I noticed my hands getting pretty cold and numb after nearly two hours. Like others have said, you probably need to resort to bar mitts for near or below freezing temps to keep the hands comfy. For road riding, to me these would be about perfect for 40-50F. Fit and construction quality seem good. I only give these 4 of 5 stars as I feel like they could have been just a tad warmer.
