Bought it to use for my Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra unlocked phone. I knew going in that the phone, being GSM, would only work on the AT&T network through Straight Talk. You activate the SIM card the same way you do a new phone bought directly from ST, except you enter the SIM card number instead of the phone serial number. My advice: activate the card first, THEN insert it into your phone. I didn't realize the number wasn't printed anywhere else and had to take mine back out. The longest part is waiting for the old phone to stop working and the new one to work instead. Took about 15 minutes for me. Be sure to restart both phones after the new phone gets service. I almost immediately got a call from ST verifying that everything was working and offering help if my mobile data wasn't set up properly (it worked fine, no help needed). The network is fine. There are a few known dead spots in my building at work, and they didn't improve on my switch from my old phone on the Verizon network. But no worse either.
