A: You are quite right.  These are standard alkaline batteries and are NOT rechargeable.  The description is incorrect.

**Q: Will these charge in any battery charger**
A: No, as they are not rechargeable batteries

**Q: Are these gp ultra aa high performance batteries old stock - the product photo shows an expired 'best before' date of january 2018?**
A: not even opened them yet, if they are out of date, I recommend you return them. that is what I will do

**Q: Batteries for LG tv**
A: My LG 49 inch has 2 AA batteries in the remote control and I use these batteries in the hand control
