Review: Well Made, But Perhaps A Little Thin - These arrived vacuum packed and were really thin when first taken out of the package. However, after 24 hours in a warm place, they did puff up a bit, but not to the thickness of similar covers I was replacing due to years of wear and tear. That said, they appear to be well made, with good materials and good stitching. I'm not sure of the relevance of the reflective tape on the hook and loop straps, but it looks okay. I think these will stand up well to a few frosty nights, but I'm not so confident they will effectively protect my outdoor taps from prolonged sub zero temperatures up here in the Scottish Highlands.. To that effect, I will use bubble wrap around the taps before putting on the covers. That should do the job. Happy enough with the purchase. Thicker covers would have got five stars.

Arrived quickly. It was shrink-wrapped so it expanded nicely on opening. It is perfect for my outdoor tap with plenty of Velcro to ensure a snug fit. I would definitely recommend this. It is a good size, perfect fit for a standard outdoor tap.
