You can use it just like any normal USB 3.1 port. **Q: How long is the cable that comes with this?** A: It's six feet long. **Q: can i hook this up to my yeti mic and my headset to the dock and it still work?** A: Hi, this stand has one mini jack plug in and two usb ports. I guess if either your mic and your headset are USB then you shouldn't have any problems. My headset does not have a mic so I am using an external one connected to the sound card on the mic input.
